Red Dragon Brewery to Close After 10 Years in Downtown Fredericksburg

After 10 years of craft brews, community gatherings, and countless memories, Red Dragon Brewery will close its doors on December 31st. The veteran-owned taproom on Princess Anne Street has been a downtown fixture where friends became family and strangers became regulars over pints of Fredericksburg Lager and Red Dragon IPA. The brewery is offering daily happy hour specials through the end of the month, inviting the community to stop by one last time to share a pint and say goodbye to a place that's meant so much to so many.

Amazon Awards $300,000 to 35 Local Nonprofits Through Rappahannock Region Community Fund

Amazon and The Community Foundation have awarded $300,000 to 35 nonprofits across Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline, and Louisa Counties, supporting programs in STEM education, sustainability, digital skills, health and wellness, and community development. Organizations received grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 to fund initiatives like youth robotics programs, mental health services, affordable housing construction, AI literacy training, and food security programs.
