One of the most family-friendly events of the spring is happening next Saturday along the Rappahannock River. The 2026 Earth Day Festival at Old Mill Park runs from 11am to 5pm on April 18th and it is completely free. Here is what to expect:

The 3rd Annual Spotsy Spring Classic Car Show is headed to a brand-new location and it is shaping up to be the biggest one yet. On May 9th from 10am to 2pm, Spotsylvania Courthouse Village Square will be home to 120+ cars, free family fun, and a whole lot of community spirit. Here is what to expect:

  • All years, makes, and models welcome with spectator voting for your favorite

  • Animal adoptions on site from Salty Paws Brigade, plus anyone who adopts a pet gets 6 months of FREE pizza from Papa John's (a $120 value!)

  • Food trucks from Smashed Life and GMAN BBQ, raffles, and DJ Mike from House of Cars

  • Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank on site accepting non-perishable donations
