This is one of the most unique settings in the area: the Patawomeck Museum holds thousands of artifacts documenting the complex history of a tribe whose ancestors have lived in Virginia for at least 15,000 years. Easter Egg Hunt at Willowdale Farm
Saturday, April 4 | 1:00 PM
Willowdale Farm | 160 Willowdale Lane, Fredericksburg

This is one of the warmest, most community-rooted events on the calendar. The Willowdale Farm Easter Egg Hunt is a fundraiser benefiting Campfire Critters Animal Sanctuary. Hunters get ready because this egg hunt will start promptly! The activity is recommended for kids ages 3–12, and each child should bring a basket to collect up to 12 eggs. After the hunt, the farm offers pony rides, animal encounters, glitter tattoos, a photo booth, and a bounce pad. Snacks and drinks are available for an additional donation, and the event wraps up by 4 PM.

Willowdale Farm is also home to Equivalent Exchange Equestrian Academy, and the sanctuary houses over 50 pigs and a variety of animals, including mini horses, donkeys, goats, cats, cows, and sheep— so even the pre- and post-hunt time is entertaining. Register today!
