Mom Prom is returning to Fredericksburg, bringing together women from across the region for a fun, high-energy evening that supports a powerful local cause.
Hosted by Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation, this ladies-only event has become one of the most anticipated community fundraisers of the year.
The theme this year is Masquerade Dreams and we couldn’t be more excited! This is a chance to gather with friends, celebrate community, and support a mission that helps save lives.
So grab your friends, pick out your outfit, and get ready for a night filled with music, laughter, and purpose.

The Story Behind Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation
Mom Prom isn’t just a party, it’s a fundraiser supporting the work of Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to saving lives through CPR education and awareness.
The foundation was created after the tragic loss of Gwyneth Griffin, a Stafford teenager who suffered sudden cardiac arrest while running at school. In the moments that followed, no one nearby knew CPR and an AED was not easily accessible.
Her parents turned their grief into action by starting Gwyneth’s Gift with a mission to ensure more people know how to respond when seconds matter.
Since then, the organization has grown into a powerful force for community safety across Virginia.
A Mission Born From Love, Now Saving Lives
Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation works to help communities become better prepared to respond during cardiac emergencies. Their mission focuses on increasing awareness of CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) so more people know how to act when every second counts.
Through education, training programs, and partnerships with schools and organizations, the foundation helps make Hands-Only CPR knowledge more accessible and encourages greater access to AEDs in public spaces.
How the Foundation Is Making an Impact
Through training programs, community partnerships, and advocacy, Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation has already made a remarkable difference.
Their work includes:

• Placement of AED devices in public spaces

Thousands of individuals across Virginia have already been trained in CPR, and AED devices have been placed throughout the community to help ensure life-saving equipment is available when seconds matter.
