Barbie, Star Wars, and Fireworks: The FredNats Are Making This a Season to Remember

The Fredericksburg Nationals are bringing nine theme nights to Virginia Credit Union Stadium this season, and the lineup is a lot of fun. New themes include Casino Night, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Toy Story, Backyard Baseball, Barbie Game Day, and Crayola Night. Returning favorites like Star Wars, Harry Potter, and the Taylor Swift-inspired In Our Baseball Era night round out the schedule. Several nights include special jersey giveaways, postgame auctions benefiting local causes, and fireworks. Tickets start at just $10.

The Second Annual Metaphysical Market returns to Whole Greens VA on Saturday, May 30 from noon to 6 p.m. Last year drew over 500 attendees and this year is shaping up to be even bigger. Expect 60-plus wellness and metaphysical vendors, local performances, a costume contest, food trucks, and a welcoming vibe for everyone from seasoned practitioners to the simply curious. Free parking, all ages, and a great excuse to spend a Saturday doing something a little different.

Tacos, Craft Beer, and Live Music Are Taking Over the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds This May

If your ideal Saturday involves tacos and a cold beer, this one is for you. The Tacos and Beer Festival hits the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission includes two complimentary taco sample tickets and craft beer samples from local breweries. Expect a wide variety of taco vendors, live music, friendly competitions, and a lively crowd of fellow food enthusiasts. VIP tequila and margarita options will also be available for those looking to upgrade the experience.

The Old Guard Is Coming to Ferry Farm and Admission Is Free

On Saturday, April 25, George Washington's childhood home comes alive with the sounds of the Revolution. Drums Along the Rappahannock brings together the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, the Loyal Drums of Stafford County, and Revolutionary War reenactors for a free, family-friendly event at Ferry Farm from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be a live blacksmithing demonstration by Black Horse Forge and a rare exhibit of historic drums inside the Visitor Center Gallery. The Old Guard performs at 1 p.m. Do not miss it.
