Killa Bee is an award-winning, all-female studio dedicated to bold, beautiful, and meaningful body art in a safe, inclusive, and empowering space. Fredericksburg's Own WFLS Earns National Recognition for Helping Local Pets Find Forever Homes

93.3 WFLS-FM has been named a national finalist for the Service to Community Award by the National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation, and the recognition is well deserved. The station earned the nod for Wet Nose Wednesday, a weekly segment on the WFLS Morning Show with Jeff and Grayson that showcases adoptable animals from local shelters and rescues. Each week the segment brings animals in-studio, creates video content shared across social media, and connects Fredericksburg listeners with pets that need a home. It has become one of the most beloved features in the local community and has made a real difference in animal adoption rates across the region.

"The real reward is seeing these animals find loving homes," said Debbie Patten, VP and Market Manager of Connoisseur Media Fredericksburg.

Congratulations to the entire WFLS team on this well-earned recognition.

Tune in to 93.3 WFLS on the WFLS Morning Show or follow along at wfls.com to catch the latest Wet Nose Wednesday feature.
