From Home Visits to the SPCA: How Dr. Lindsey Aebli is Showing Up for Fredericksburg
For many families, accessing veterinary care isn’t always simple. Between busy schedules, transportation challenges, financial concerns, and the stress it can place on pets, getting the care they need can feel harder than it should. Auravet was created to change that. Founded by local mixed animal veterinarian Dr. Lindsey Aebli, Auravet is a mobile veterinary practice built on compassion, accessibility, and integrity, bringing care directly into the home where pets are most comfortable. This approach allows for more time, less stress, and truly individualized care.

Dr. Lindsey Aebli
From wellness visits and illness care to chronic condition management and end-of-life support, Auravet meets families wherever they are, both at home and in life. That same commitment shows up in the community in many ways. Most recently, Dr. Aebli has signed on to serve as interim Veterinarian-in-Charge for the Fredericksburg SPCA, helping restore intake, support critical shelter operations, and ensure animals continue receiving the care they need. Learn more about this exciting partnership announcement
"As veterinarians, we’re invited into some of the most meaningful and vulnerable moments in people’s lives with their pets. Auravet was created to honor that by making sure those moments are met with time, compassion, and care that is accessible and truly supports both the pet and the people who love them.”
~Dr. Aebli

The Fredericksburg Greek Festival returns on June 6th and 7th, 2026 with two full days of authentic Greek food, lively music, and community celebration.
