Dr. Christie Murray Wilson is a visionary leader, accomplished electrical engineer, and dedicated community advocate who has spent over 30 years transforming the lives of youth, teens, young adults, and their families. As an entrepreneur and tireless catalyst for growth, she is driven by a simple yet powerful truth: education is the greatest equalizer. Her life’s work is rooted in a passion for multigenerational empowerment, ensuring every young person has access to the resources and guidance needed to navigate the journey from the classroom to a fulfilling career. Christie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Hampton University. She also holds a master’s degree in computer information systems and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Christie is also a Federal Executive Institute Graduate Fellow and an international Certified Professional Facilitator.

A Commitment to Future-Ready Success
Dr. Wilson's dedication is evident in her impactful resources and initiatives. She has authored the essential guides, College Planning Strategies I Wish Someone Had Told Me and College Funding Strategies I Wish Someone Had Told Me, which provide students with strategies to gain college acceptance without the burden of student-loan debt. Leveraging emerging technologies, she recently launched her first artificial intelligence app, HiddenGems $cholarship Finder, to connect students with unique, low-competition scholarships.
For five consecutive years, she has hosted the annual Youth Career and College Excellence Summit (YCCES), a groundbreaking virtual experience. Purposefully timed in August, the summit equips students across the nation with ‘future-ready’ strategies from a high-caliber network of industry experts. At its core, YCCES operates on a high-impact "Learn to Earn" model: participants complete scholarship applications on Day 1 and are awarded scholarships on Day 2. The journey continues with the 6th Annual 2026 YCCES, set for August 8-9, 2026.
Beyond her programs, Dr. Wilson is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc®, and serves on foundation boards, including the Buffy Foundation, Inc. and the Donovan Angel Foundation, to advance youth missions and advocate for equity and timely resources. For her, service is a dedicated effort to empower others, advance educational equity, and ensure every student has the tools they need to succeed. Christie and her husband Tony live in Stafford, VA with their two college aged sons.
